I know what I believe to be true and what I don't as I'm sure many of you out there do as well. Just as I'm sure many are puzzled over what to believe and what not to believe. What I want to propose to you here is this- let's assume there is an element of truth from both parties regarding the other candidate's personality traits, both good and bad, and their character. It would appear that both parties are involved in some amount of corruption but is that really a surprise to any of us who follow politics? I think it's safe to say the answer to that is "no". Do you really believe that a person's race, sex or age qualifies them to be President? (As a woman I can say that I don't just want a woman as President, I want a woman who is going to represent the rest of us by being qualified and doing an exemplerary job.) So I ask this of you, put all of that aside and look only at where each candidate stands on issues. Don't pay attention to all the negative name calling and what one candidate, who wants to beat the other mind you, tells you about the other. Do the research yourself as to what each is saying they will do. Look at their past performance and their promises. Are you pro life or pro choice? Do you want a country with no borders or do you want our govt to protect us by knowing who does and does not enter our country? Do you support riotors destroying other's personal property and looting from businesses, beating those who get in their way or do you believe in justice, a person's right to defend their family and property? Do you respect the good peace keepers who put their lives on the line each time they go to work to protect you and your family and property? Do you think we should consider all police officers bad or should we punish only those who show by their actions that they are corrupt? Do you think our military should be policing the world or that they should be defending US? Do you think our military deserves to be respected and compensated for all they do? Do you believe our government should be able to force you to buy ANYTHING in their timeframe? Have you researched what is truly the cleanest form of energy and what actually does damage to our planet and which candidate stands for that which will actually be the better investment of your money? Have you researched which party has actually worked the hardest and has done the most to promote civil rights? Which party freed the slaves? Which party really presented the bill to give women or blacks the right to vote? I don't mean take the word of the press or the party advertisements. I mean google public record for the truth yourself. In November make an informed decision. As admittedly not the best example but it's late and I'm tired and I do think it simplistically is a descent example, if you come home to find your house has been broken into and you have security cameras and witnesses are you going to merely take the word of the suspect who says they're innocent or are you going to dig deeper and watch the video and take down what witnesses say????? I'm asking you to dig deeper.

It's pretty safe to assume that everyone is aware that we have a very important election coming up in November. What some don't understand is WHY this particular election is so very important. Isn't every presidential election important? Yes, so why is THIS one more important? In November 2024 you will be voting on a drastic change in our system and our way of life.
